Congrats to you, Amie! Everyone needs some lightness in a bad week.

The horns look good on you, too. :D

Also, you prance around in a purple set of horns, Merc? What an odd image that presents.... O.o

Ooh, ooh! Let me answer! :D

Different things are sexy about different people. I thought I had a type (tall, tragic, poetic) and then I feel in love with my cheery, freckly, sexier-than-anything husband. But there are certain things that I think are sexy. For example, I love sharp teeth. LOVE 'em. I love hands. I agree with Jim when he says that people reaching beyond their comfort levels is sexy. But to me, blatant is NOT super sexy.

When I'm writing sexy characters, I draw from real people that I know. Everybody has something sexy about them, and I'll pull from them.

For me, the first part about finding a character sexy is connecting with them. Learning the nuances, the subtleties, feeling closer. I've never been a fan of cardboard cutouts...whether in fiction or real life. Give me someone real - being attracted to them grows from that.

As for what I find sexy overall, I agree with what you've already written. But to take it a step further, it's someone that is true to their core being. So a girl that's shy can be just as sexy as a tough chick or an artsy person - as long as they are being who they truly are.

A certain look, a wink, and smile, something shared between the two, that will make my heart pound faster than anything over the top. And the sound of soft laughter will get me going faster than any low-cut blouse or thigh-high skirt (although those are nice too...lol).

Reaching past their comfort level can also be sexy. So if that shy wallflower gets up the nerve to boogie down on the dancefloor, that is pretty hot. As long as they are fully enjoying that "reach", I love watching that essence shine.

From the quietest bookworm, to the tattoo-covered biker babe...as long as they are true to themselves, there's probably gonna be a bit of "sexy" in there for me. :-)

Hey there been a while but I saw this and blew me back. You guys are AMAZING people and if more people had your all's attitudes the world would be a better place. You all are unique and are raising beautiful children that will hopefully one day change the world. With the values and beliefs you've all taught them I don't know how they could not change things. You guys are blessed with each other and others are jealous that they can not have the same type of relationships with people.
I can only hope that I turn out to be as good a parents as you all are.
You can take this to the bank, "Don't get no better than y'all and that's for sure."
